Hey Dr. Kwon,
I was planning this case for 2 implants in #13/14 area on the CBCT and notice this canal which interferes directly with my placement of # 13
My first thought was a secondary nasopalatine canal?
I did some research and found believe it to be a rare anatomical variation known as "Canalis Sinuosus", a small branch off the infraorbital canal.
Have you encountered this before?
Any concerns, beyond some numbness if I obliterate the canal and graft it?
Thoughts?

dear Stefano,
Thanks for the post.
Yes I encountered few of those during my 20 yr implant career.
No significant consequences. Sometimes more bleeding will be noticed during osteotomy. I havent had any significant or irreversible consequences.
Hope this helps,
- mark
