[Diagnostic / Planning]  lower full overdenture

Hello Drs, (specially Dr. HY Chung - "the Locator Jedi master")

Patient is inquiring about denture stabilization solution for the lower full denture. She is happy with her upper full for now.

Challenges:

1- highly resorbed ridge

2- minimal flabby keratinized tissue

3- hardly any vestibule

4- Lingual/labial frenulum attachment right at the top of the ridge

Patient does not want surgery to deepen the vestibule or any FGG.

Assuming that we have enough bone between the two mental foramen to place four implants, would additional soft tissue surgery be required to allow for a wider denture to place the locator housings? What is the minimal width required for the denture to place the housing without the denture breaking in half?

I have a couple of pictures. CT scans to come.

I appreciate your input.

regards

Keyhan
