Hello everyone, I have been attempting some grafting cases using sticky bone/PRF block graft and results are not great so far.  I think one of the issue is overheating of the centrifuge and resulting poor quality PRF and not being able to achieve the right consistency for I/FPRF so that the bone actually become rock hard (using osteoss from Hiossen and Nexiva)Q1:  For all of you doing APRF and F/IPRF, how many centrifuges do you use?Q2:...

Hello everyone, here is a case that I was about to restore when I found a surprising amount of infection surrounding this implant.  First 2 xrays are from placement surgery, 3rd one is from one year later  History:1.  #35 was extracted due to caries - severe crowding and tooth blocked lingually.  Extremely difficult extraction, significant bone removal and before my PRF days (April 2013)2.  Patient healed well and in Janu...

I have had some success placing upper immediate 4's and 5's with crowns the same day. Drilling protocol used is similar to immediate anteriors to avoid buccal bone perforation. Usually place 4.0mm implants in these areas depending on the amount of bone of course.Question is for example if you remove a 45 and there is a 44 and 46 present. Is placing right into the socket acceptable. I have gotten great stability and appropriate angulation on lower...

Mark this question is for you. For immediate anterior placement I understand all of the concepts you teach I just wanted to clarify a the sequence and have a few questions.1. Small envelope flap in the area of the immediate palatal only (if placing crown same day)2. Use oral surgery round bur to lick palatal crest to determine where cortical and cancellous bone is3. Next do you use a lance drill or a 557 to start 3-4 mm down the palatal wall...

I placed this implant 4 months ago and am restoring it today.   First image is at the date of placement. I removed the tooth and placed the implant right in the socket 1mm below buccal bone. PRF and cortical cancellous mix. Coverscrew and PRF membrane over the top. The second image is 3 months post placement, ISQ shows we have integration but I notice some ditching. Does not seem to be progressive 1 month later at the uncovering appiontmen...
