Hi guys, I just placed a NPx8 Replace implant in both the 46 and 47 areas.  I was limited to this size due to narrow bone buccal lingually as well as vertically from the superior border of the Mn nerve.  I was able to get 40-50Ncm of torque on both implants and implants are both surrounded by bone on the lingual up to the height of the implant but there was about 4mm of exposed thread on the buccal.  I mixed some PRF and Rapt...

Hi guys   Had an interesting surgery last week, I removed remaining lower teeth, reduced/levelled bone, and placed two implants for future locator attachment.    Anyways, as I reduced bone, there was excessive bleeding from the bone in one area in particular (33/32 area), it was actually spurting out of the bone!  Anyways, I was able to control with pressure eventually, but took a while.   I have always heard to hav...

How big of a concern is it to have a patient who has a complete upper denture, who needs LAS surgery to elevate the sinus and cannot go without his denture for even a day, to wear the denture over bilateral sites?...

Dear Mark/Bernard   One quick question, I saw my patient for a post op check and removed the sutures.  Everything is good.    Do I need to wait for 4 months or 6 months until I place the restoration, and if so, how do I check if it's stable and integrated?  (and I am not prepared to buy that machine to test the stability of the implant yet) ...

This case was treatment-planned for a "closed"/internal sinus lift with a 10mm implant (3.5mm) as there was 8mm of bone height present. Particulate bone (Raptos) was packed in osteotomy site before implant placement.   I am not certain about the x-ray taken afterwards. Are you supposed to see the radiopacity of bone and lifted sinus?   Based on the radiograph, is it possible that the implant has perforated the sinus floor/m...

Hi guys   Hope all is well with you!     I have a question regarding All-on-4 surgeries and initial implant stability.   I have been doing some All-on-4 cases over the past 6 months, trying to keep the cases straight forward and simple at this point.  What an amazing treatment treatment option for our patients, really unbelievable!   I have a more challenging case that the patient wants to go ahead with, my con...

This is a 37 years old caucasian female patient. She has localized mesial root gum recessions on both 36 and 46. I have attached a picture of 36 but 46 looks the same. Both areas have probing depth of 1.5mm and KT looks to be slightly less than 3mm. I would describe the tissue biotype as thick in general but just these two areas seem to be thinned out a little. Interproximal bone level is good. about 1.5mm below CEJ.   I couldn't scan PAs so...
