Hello Dr. Kwon and Dr. Jin, I have a question about the socket bone grafting I am planning for a patient's tooth 14, which has a fracured root. Questions: 1) Can I use the PRF only for the grafting. If I need to use other bone materials in combination, what are your recommendations? (bands, bone type, size...) 2) Do I have to thoroughly clean up the socket after the 14 extraction, even if I am p...

I just placed both these implants this morning. I was able to get 35N on#14 thus healing abutment and only 15N on #24 thus placed a healing cap. Hi Guys, I'm placing implant #14 on Friday and want to try and build a papillae while in there along with an immediate temp. Any tricks on papillae building? I know that we talked about it at the tissue course but that seems like such a long time ago! I'm pretty comfortable with the standard buccal recession CT grafts but this is new to me. My concern is that if I place the implant with a standard flap design will the CT gr...

Hi Bernard I really enjoyed your soft tissue course in the fall. I have been doing some grafts since with good success! Your technique works great and patients are responding very well.... The splint has been the biggest aid, patients are not finding much postop discomfort at all. I had a couple of quick questions for you: 1) I'm still a little confused as to when to choose a FGG over a CTG...

Hi Mark, I really appreciate your time showing me the CT scans. For This sinus elevation, it looks like there's only about 4.7 mm of bone there...will a simple sinus "bump" technique be used or a lateral window technique with a bone graft? If a sinus elevation is required, can you do the sinus elevation and refer the patient back to me for the placement of the implant? In the future, can your office email me the images immediately with th...
