Hi Mark,
I have to remove a dethreaded prosthetic screw on a 25 SCRC crown in the next few weeks and just had a few questions....
1) In the "Implant Complications" workshop we were told to use a No. 2 round bur first and then try to engage the screw with the Mini Abutment Removal Drivers in the ESR Kit. However, in your demo video you mention using a No. 8 round bur. Which one would you recommend? I noticed that the No.8 round bur seems too large, and the No.2 round bur is too small to engage the side walls of the internal hex. (I have attached photos).
2) For these round burs, do you recommend using friction grip burs to be mounted on a restorative high speed handpiece or would you recommend latch type burs to be used with an implant motor and hand piece?
Thanks!

Hi Dr. Virk,
It is No.2 latch round bur for dethreaded screw. It's not No.8.
I will fix the video. Thank you.
