Hope all is well.

I have restored two implants with two seperate crowns with custom abutments on March 3rd. 

Patient is complaining about food getting packed IP of 36/37 implant crowns. Crowns contacts are good, but there is a large gingival embrassure where the papilla is missing. I am thinking about solutions to minimize food packing and hygiene of the area.

option  #1- send them back to the lab to overcontour the crown to close the embrassure  

options #2- undercontour the crown to open up the space for easier access and cleaning.

Your input in this matter is highly appreciated.
