patient had implant supported crown placed may/12, after 4 months healing, implant is 5mm NBiocare platform shift, crown is screw retained. xray taken today (crown in place for 15 months now)  shows some bone loss on first few threads.  patient also notices some odor coming from around implant.  no visible signs of inflamation.  good oral hygiene.  i checked bite and adjusted.  hopefully this will solve the problem i...

patient presents this week complaining of #46 implant crown, recently placed at another office. is has never felt comfortable and she is constantly having to floss under crown.  i think the situation can be improved if crown and abutment (it is cemented crown, and has been off a few times) are removed, and a custom one piece screw retained  abutment crown is placed. i think the situation can be improved with a better emergance profile.&...

While placing a WP Replace implant with a torque-controlled handpiece, the handpiece stops turning mid-way through the implant's length as it reaches maximum torque of 35Ncm. What to you do?...

what is the best way to make a final impression of a Zr CAD/CAM custom abutment and is it true that if you take the custom abutment out it will be useless becuase you won't have the correct orientation!!!...
